Ancient Engineering

There are the famous for their advanced engineering accomplishments, although some of their own inventions were improvemets on an older ideas, concepts and other inventions. Technology for the bringing up in the running water into cities was developed in the east, but transformed by the technology pespective in the common Romans into the technology inconceivable in Greece.

The main working of the architecture used  by Romans strongly influenced by Greek and  Etruscan sources. Roads were common area of that time, but Romans improved their design and perfected the construction to the extent that many of their roads are still in use today.
   

Engineering (Definition):

The discipline, art, skill and profession of acquiring and applying scientific, mathematical, economic, social, and practical knowledge to design and build structures, machines, devices, systems, materials and processes that safely realize improvements to the lives of people.
In other perspective is that one who practices on particular field in which they need to be part of  specializes called as 'engineer'.
